Refund Policy
A 14-day refund on any STEMPA subscription payment through Paddle, for any reason. How to cancel and how to ask for a refund.
The short version
STEMPA subscription through Paddle: ask within 14 days of any subscription payment, the first or a renewal, and you get that payment back, for any reason. You can cancel at any time: that stops future renewals, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Your rights under consumer law are not affected by anything here.
1. Scope
This policy is published by Ecopackaging (Pty) Ltd, trading as KRAGOS, Reg 2014/032538/07, and forms part of the Terms of Service.
A STEMPA subscription is a recurring subscription bought online, sold to you by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for that order (Terms clause 13.6).
2. STEMPA subscriptions through Paddle
14-day refund on every payment. You may ask for a full refund of any STEMPA subscription payment through Paddle, the first payment or a renewal, within 14 days of the date of that payment, for any reason (Terms clause 7.30).
Cancelling. You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again.
What happens after a refund or a cancellation. After a refund the paid plan ends; after a cancellation it ends at the end of the period you paid for. The account then returns to the free plan and its limits. The free plan keeps a shorter history of your briefs than a paid plan, so export anything you want to keep first.
Free trial. A free trial that STEMPA offers without taking a payment method costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. It is separate from the refunds in 2.1.
3. How to cancel or ask for a refund
Cancel from your STEMPA account, or through the subscription link in the receipt email Paddle sent you, or at paddle.net.
Ask for a refund at paddle.net, or through the link in the receipt email Paddle sent you. You may also write to ops@kragos.app or call +27 76 938 5606, and we will ask Paddle to make the refund.
Refunds are made by Paddle, as the seller, to the original payment method. Paddle's own Refund Policy says how long that takes.
4. Plans and work paid by KRAGOS invoice
Plans and work paid by KRAGOS invoice are not sold through Paddle; their refunds are governed by clauses 7.20 and 7.38 of our Terms of Service.
5. Your rights under the law
Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 where they apply, under Paddle's Buyer Terms or Refund Policy, or under the consumer law of the place you buy from. Where more than one applies, you have the benefit of the most generous.
If you are an individual contracting electronically, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act may give you a seven day cooling-off right (Terms clause 27.3).
6. Contact and changes
Email ops@kragos.app, call +27 76 938 5606, or use the contact page.
If we change this policy we raise its version number. A change does not take away a refund you were entitled to on a payment made before it.
